Bangalore: The former minister P G R Sindhya has been distressed over Anita Kumaraswamy, wife of the former CM H D Kumaraswamy, who will be contesting as JDS candidate in the forthcoming by-elections from Bangalore rural Lok Sabha constituency.
Its significant that for the first time a female member of Deve Gowda’s family is likely to submit her nomination papers to contest parliamentary elections.
JDS leaders decided to issue ticket to former MLA Puttaraju to contest from Mandya parliamentary constituency, as they have seriously considered both Mandya and Bangalore rural by-elections for Lok Sabha.
In spite of JDS activists and a few leaders were pressurizing Anita Kumaraswamy to contest from Bangalore rural constituency,it seemed Anita did not consented.
Meanwhile, as per advices of JDS supremo H D Deve Gowda, Anita Kumaraswamy has agreed in this regard.
