Bengaluru: After a massive victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh polls, the BJP is now spinning its strategies for Karnataka and if sources are to be believed BJP National President Amit Shah is going to make Bengaluru his home!
Yes, as per party sources, Amit Shah will be in Bengaluru during Sankranti and then he will be staying in the Garden City. To make his stay a comfortable one, a super luxury villa on Airport Road has been taken on rental basis.
The villa in Sadarahalli is in close proximity to the BJP office as well as the airport. The election planning will take place here and not at the BJP office, it is said. While strategy room has been done in the villa a separate war room has been design and the ten war room teams too will be shifting to Bengaluru.
The plan is to make sure that Shah visits Bengaluru twice a week. During his stay in Bengaluru, Shah is believed to focus on Mangaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi and Belagavi as well.
It may be recalled that recently Congress Karnataka in-charge KC Venugopal too shifted to Bengaluru with the aim of working out strategies for upcoming polls in the state.
All in all Karnataka has become a prestige issue for the BJP and the Congress.
