Bengaluru: Additional DGP of intelligence Ashit Mohan Prasad has been transferred to as ADGP of traffic and road safety with immediate effect.
The government also said that ADGP of traffic and road safety post has been upgraded to the equivalent to the post of ADGP post of Law and order.

The order came soon after the transfer orders of 47 KAS cadre officers who were holding the same office for many years.

Prasad was earlier asked to go on compulsory leave after late DySP M K Ganapathi had accused Prasad, along with another IPS officer and former minister George of harrassing him.
