Bangalore: A 28-year-old son  of a housemaid was arrested on Wednesday July 30, for raping a minor. The incident is learnt to have taken place on July 27.The accused has been identified as Shrinivas.

It is said that a lady named Lakshamma was a maid at the victim’s house and used to take the victim sometimes to her house.

On Sunday July 27, when Lakshamma was out and Shrinivas was all alone with the 7-year-old, he allegedly raped her.

Srinivas was arrested after  a complaint was registered at Kamakshipalya police station. He has been booked under IPC sec 376/4.
