2019 SSLC exam results out! Hassan comes first, Yadgir last

Bengaluru: The results of the 2019 SSLC exams have been announced by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB). The state has recorded a pass percentage of 73.7, an increase of 1.77% from last year (71.93%).

Two girls have secured 625/625 (100%) in the examinations. Naganjali Parameshwara Naik from the Colaba Vithob Shanbagh Kalbagkar High School, Kumata, Uttara Kannada district and Srujana D from St. Philomena English High School, Anekal, Bengaluru South are the two toppers.

Addressing a press conference here, General Secretary Umashankar announced that the Hassan district (89.33%) has come first in the state, followed by the Ramanagar (88.49%), Bengaluru Rural (88.34%) and Uttar Kannada (88.12%) districts. He also informed that the Udupi (87.97%) district has come fifth, Mangaluru (86.73%) seventh and Yadagir (53.95%) last in the list.

As many as 1,626 schools in the state have managed to get a 100 per cent pass result.

The individual results will be out at 12.45 PM today on the official site.
