10 y/o from Bengaluru tests positive for COVID-19; Total now 215

Bengaluru: Another person from Bengaluru has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. As with the seven cases from earlier today, he is also a contact person of a previously identified COVID-19 patient.

The latest case is a 10-year-old boy, who is the son of Patient 92. He is a resident of the Bengaluru Urban district, one of the red zones of the state.

Bengaluru Urban has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the entire state, followed closely by Mysuru.

The latest case brings Karnataka’s total up to 215, which includes six deaths and 39 discharges.

In some good news for the state, a 10-month-old baby boy from the Dakshina Kannada district, who tested positive for COVID-19 last month, has made a full recovery and was discharged today.
