10 IAS officers transferred in state

Bengaluru: In a major reshuffle, the State government on Friday transferred 10 IAS officers.

G. Kalpana, Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, has been posted as Director-General, Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru, and ex-officio Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Training), in the existing vacancy.

Shalini Rajneesh, Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department, is posted as Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, in the existing vacancy.

S.R. Umashankar, Commissioner for Excise, Bengaluru, is posted as Secretary, Kannada, Culture and Information Department.

T.K. Anil Kumar, Secretary, Urban Development Department (Municipalities & Urban Development Authorities) is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Managing Director, Mysore Paper Mills Ltd., Bengaluru.

Harsh Gupta, Managing Director, Mysore Paper Mills Ltd., Bengaluru, is posted as Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

Naveen Raj Singh, Managing Director, Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Bengaluru, is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department.

V. Ponnuraj, Managing Director, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation, Bengaluru, is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner for Public Instruction, Bengaluru.

Rame Gowda, Commissioner for Transport and Road Safety, Bengaluru, is posted as Director, Department of Pre-University Education, and given concurrent charge of the post of Commissioner for Transport. Pallavi Akurathi, Director, Department of Pre-University Education, Bengaluru, is posted as Deputy Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, according to a government press release.
