Bengaluru: Smart App Company has decided to launch an application “Smart Vote App” to coincide with Independence Day on August 15.

Disclosing the details, company Chief Executive Sudhindra said, the app will provide all relevant information to create awareness among graduate voters. Teachers, local organisation members, graduates, members of parliament (both houses) members of state legislature (both houses) can log on to the app and obtain desired information, CEO Sudhindra said.

Graduate voters’ list is very different from the voters’ list employed for local bodies, legislature and parliament elections, he stated. Around 50 lakh graduates enrolled for graduate assembly constituency elections last year in Bengaluru city but only 1.5 lakh exercised their franchise, CEO Sudhindra rued.
