Vijayapura: In three separate cases, Rs 62.90 Lakh in cash was seized without documents under Jhalaki Police Station limits in Indi Taluk of Vijayapura District.

Rs. 54.49 Lakh, including Rs. 46.75 Lakh and Rs. 7.74 lakh, respectively, were seized from two lorries that were on their way from Bengaluru to Aurangabad.

It is reported that Syed, Jamil and Rangaswamy, all hailing from Bengaluru, have been arrested. The three were served notices and released on bail. In another case, police said that they had seized Rs. 8.50 Lakh in unaccounted cash from Solapur to Vijayapura in a car.
