In Kannamangaladoddy village of Ramanagara taluk, a distressing incident unfolded on Friday when over 25 individuals who participated in a home entry program fell ill after consuming food.
Among those affected, eight children were included, experiencing symptoms such as stomach pain, vomiting, and dysentery shortly after having lunch. Prompt action was taken, with all the affected individuals promptly admitted to Ramnagar District Hospital for immediate medical attention and treatment.
According to the Resident Medical Officer (RMO), Narayanaswamy, the sudden onset of illness is believed to be due to the seasonal transition. However, he reassured that all patients have received necessary medical care, and the affected children are currently stable without any complications.
