Three women from Balligeri in Athani taluk tragically lost their lives in a devastating accident on Saturday when a cruiser they were traveling in overturned near Jatta in Maharashtra.
The victims, Mahadevi Chowgala, Geetha Dodamani, and Kasturi, had embarked on their journey to Maharashtra for work purposes. However, their plans were abruptly cut short when the left side tire of the cruiser exploded, leading to the fatal accident.
The incident also left several other passengers in the vehicle seriously injured, who have since been rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment. In the wake of this heartbreaking event, a somber atmosphere has descended upon Balligeri, with family members grappling with overwhelming grief and anger over the loss of their loved ones.
