Kerala: Participating in the Jan Raksha Yatra here in Kerala, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the CPM-led Kerala government of political vendetta in the killings of BJP and RSS workers in the state. He also accused the government of encouraging love jihad.
The Yatra, which was flagged off by BJP national president Amit Shah at Kannur on Tuesday will also see participation of top BJP leaders over the next fortnight.
“This yatra is a mirror for communist governments in Kerala,West Bengal and Tripura. They should put an end to political killings. There is no place for violence in a democracy but political killings are continuing here,” stated Yodi to media persons adding that the yatra was intended to send a message to the Left government, supporters of which are alleged to have murdered nearly 120 workers of the BJP party.
Meanwhile the Left government too was not far behind in taking a jibe at the visiting chief minister asking him to visit the hospitals here to get a better idea of how they should be run. It may be recalled that 63 children had lost their lives at the state-run Baba Raghav Das Medical College in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, which also happens to be Yogi’s constituency.
