Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Etawah — a Samajwadi Party (SP) bastion in Uttar Pradesh on 5th May
The BJP’s campaign strategy has focused on targeting areas traditionally held by the main opposition party, particularly those where prominent members of the SP’s leadership are running for office.
During various rallies, leaders of the BJP, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, have emphasized the significance of five members of the SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav’s family participating in the Lok Sabha election.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has conducted two rallies and a roadshow in Mainpuri, a constituency historically loyal to the SP and one that the BJP has never secured.
Following the event in Etawah, Prime Minister Modi is slated to address another gathering in Sitapur later in the day. Subsequently, he plans to visit Ayodhya to offer prayers at the Ram temple and then lead a roadshow in the sacred city.
