Elvish Yadav, a well-known YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner, was detained by Noida Police on Sunday in connection with a suspected use of snake venom. Elvish Yadav was arrested today after the police asked him to come in for questioning. He will make his court appearance today.
This case concerns police raids at a party in Noida in November 2023, where police discovered that attendees had been using snake venom to get tipsy. According to reports, Elvish Yadav was at the party and is suspected of bringing the snake venom. The YouTuber has refuted each and every accusation, threatening to bring legal action for defamation.
Following police raids, videos of Elvish Yadav holding snakes went viral on social media, with users calling for the YouTuber’s arrest.
Five people were detained for smuggling snakes following a string operation by the non-governmental organization People for Animals (PFA), which was founded by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi. According to the smugglers, they supplied snakes to Elvish Yadav’s parties.
