Mecca has always been a destination to attract devotees in large numbers from over the globe, but for now, we have something from Mecca coming to another part of the globe, for a mosque here in Ayodhya.
The sacred brick bearing aayats (couplets from the Quran) will now make its way to India to lay the foundation of the Ayodhya mosque, on a five acre land here.
The mosque will be named after Mohammed Bin Abdallah and the office bearers of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation are all set to oversee the construction of the entire project.
The brick, which is made of black soil, with its couplets in golden letters is already on its way, being carried by office bearers from Mecca who will reach the place in April for the much awaited construction to begin straight away.
Devotees, in the meantime, give all the credit for the on-going success the Lord above, saying that it is all His work and His will to bring to this place something that they consider coming from a spiritual place.
