New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had a close call on Tuesday at Indira Gandhi International airport as he was returning from Rae Bareli in his private jet.

Reportedly it is known that Rahul’s plane was given the clearance to land at the same runway where an Ilyushin aircraft of Indian Air Force plane was moving and about to take off.

Providentially, just moments before Rahul’s Cessna aircraft was about to land, the airport traffic control alerted Rahul’s pilot to call off landing.

It is contemplated that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a probe.
