Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray celebrated his birthday by cutting a cake which had the picture of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday, June 14.
The MNS chief cut the cake at his residence ‘Krishna Kunj’ at Dadar in Central Mumbai along with his supporters.
Owaisi who has always been in limelight for his controversial statements, had triggered a row earlier this year when he said that he would not chant ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, even if a knife was put to his throat.
Reportedly, Thackeray pierced the knife right on Owaisi’s throat on the cake and his supporters shouted out loud ‘Bharath Mata Ki Jai’.
