Mumbai: The activists of Naam Tamizhar Katchi organized a protest against Indian Government representative and external affairs minister Salman Khurshid, on Wednesday November 14 at Mumbai.


The external Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and the head of the Indian delegation at the CHOGM Summit to be held in Sri Lanka next week scheduled on November 15, with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh deciding against undertaking the visit in view of the opposition by parties in Tamil Nadu as well as a section in the Congress.
Political parties in Tamil Nadu and several other outfits have opposed India’s participation at any level in the CHOGM meet alleging that the Sri Lankan government had committed gross violation of human rights and had no plans to devolve powers to the ethnic Tamils.
Although Khurshid has been favoring the decision, due to which on Tuesday November 13, A bandh was conducted by pro-Eelam outfits evoked partial response in Chennai, Madurai and other places, likewise a protest was held by activists of Naam Tamizhar Katchi against Indian Government representative Salman Khurshid.
