Bihar: A man in village in Bettiah, Bihar, organised a wedding for his 13-year-old pet monkey named Ramu.

According to a report published in BBC, more than 200 villagers attended the event.

The owner of the monkey Udesh Mahto claims that the monkey is like ‘his adopted son’.

The report states that the wedding was conducted according to Hindu rituals.

Villagers lined up in large number to get a glimpse of the groom and the bride, Ramdulari, as they were taken in a procession on top of an SUV decorated with flowers.
