Mumbai: While people from different walks of life participate in the Mumbai Marathon every year, there is one man who has become an inspiration to many. Known fondly as the ‘Turbaned Tornado’, 104-year-old Fauja Singh who retired from the marathon three years ago, expressed his happiness to participate in his second Mumbai Marathon on Sunday.

“I am very much delighted and happy to participate in the marathon. I want to congratulate the company which is organising this marathon. I am very happy to be a part of it,” Singh told the media.
Singh took up the sport when he was in his eighties after moving to London.
Singh, a living legend, who continues to inspire people of all age group, is the world’s oldest marathon runner.
With an exceptional story of achieving the un-achievable, Singh is the perfect example of living healthy and happy.
Having participated in London Marathon in 2012, where he ran 20 Singh has never looked back since.
