Mumbai: An accused arrested the Salman Khan residence firing case has tried to die by suicide while in custody on Wednesday.

Anuj Thapan is the accused who tried to end his life. There is no clarity about the incident as of now, but ANI has reported quoting Mumbai police that he has been rushed to a nearby hospital.

Two accused had fired four rounds outside Salman Khan’s resident in Mumbai Bandra area in the early hours of April 14. The police have arrested Sagar Pal,21 and Vicky Gupta, 24, both shooters from Gujarat, later arrested Anuj Thapan, 32, Sonu Kumar Chander Bishnoi, 37 from Punjab.

The accused Pal, Gupta and Thapan were produced before a court and they were remanded them to police custody till May 8.
