New Delhi: Gurmehar Kaur, the Delhi University student whose tweet targeting the ABVP drew sharp reactions from across the social media, has now hit back at her critics with a befitting reply.
Kaur’s recent tweet, ‘I Didn’t Tweet, My Hands Did’, appears to be directed towards people who mocked her by tweeting similar jargons, prominent among those were Virender sehwag, Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha and actor Randeep Hooda.
It may be recalled that the 20-year-old posted a picture of herself holding a placard that read ‘I am not afraid of ABVP’ post the violence witnessed in Ramjas college as also another one that ‘Pakistan did not kill my father but war did’.
Taking to twitter Virender Sehwag posted a picture of him holding a placard that said: “I did not score two triple centuries. My bat did.” Hooda who also came in the line of firing for mocking the girl later clarified that he was not aware of the trolling and that his views were misconstrued.
Kaur’s recent tweet has again set Twitter on fire. There have been almost 1,000 retweets and over 1,500 ‘likes’ in just 11 hours.
