New Delhi: Fifty vehicles collided in Rohtak, Haryana, due to dense fog, killing eight people, including six women, and injuring another 12.
The roads in Rohtak-Rewari highway was covered with dense fog, causing school bus, cars and SUVs to collide on the highway.
The accident has caused a two kilometre traffic jam on the highway.
Haryana minister OP Dhankar has declared a compensation of Rs two lakh to the kin of the deceased, Rs one lakh to the severely injured, and Rs 50,000 to those who are suffering from minor injuries.
