On social media, a strange video of a street vendor topping a dosa with dessert instead of the traditional masala has surfaced. It is definitely going viral.
To introduce the dish, the chef was seen in the opening scene of the video spreading the dosa batter on the pan. The recipe called for topping the dosa with a few gulab jamuns right after.
The desi candy was carefully distributed over the whole surface of the dosa after being smashed in the center. But that wasn’t all. There was more to the strange food that was being cooked and served at the Sector 15 booth in Chandigarh. The chef could be seen dipping the gulab jamun dosa into milk and ghee and then dusting it with powdered sugar.
The main meal seems to have been changed into a dessert and lost its original flavor. Though it was unclear whether they appreciated the meal that was made there, the food reel received more than a lakh likes on Instagram.
