New Delhi: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan recently shared snapshots from his visit to the recently inaugurated Ram temple in Ayodhya.
The pictures, posted on his official account on X, capture Mr. Bachchan respectfully standing with folded hands in front of the newly consecrated Ram Lalla idol. This significant event took place in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony held on Monday.

In the images, the veteran actor expressed his reverence, writing, “Bol Siya Pati Ramchandra Ki Jai.” Mr. Bachchan was one of over 7,000 distinguished guests invited to witness the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. During the grand event, he was also seen engaging in friendly exchanges with Prime Minister Modi, as depicted in a video shared by news agency ANI. In the video, PM Modi greeted the 81-year-old actor with folded hands, and the gesture was reciprocated by Mr. Bachchan, who was accompanied by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan.

Adding to the Ayodhya narrative, reports have surfaced suggesting that Amitabh Bachchan has acquired a plot in a seven-star enclave in Ayodhya. The Mumbai-based developer, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), has not disclosed the plot’s size and value, but sources indicate it is a 10,000 sqft plot located approximately 15 minutes away from the Ram temple.
Meanwhile, at the Ayodhya temple, a new 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla was consecrated during the event led by Prime Minister Modi. The idol, portraying Lord Ram as a five-year-old child, was adorned in a yellow dhoti with a golden crown, necklaces, and held a golden bow and arrow. Renowned Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj crafted the idol from black stone, marking the advent of a new era, as stated by Prime Minister Modi.
