New Delhi : Aam Aadmi Party Chief Aravind Kejriwal is expected to meet Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung  on December 14, Saturday to  refuse the  Congress Support in forming the government.

Earlier, the Congress had written a letter to Jung offering unconditional support to AAP. However, AAP leader Yogendra Yadav tweeted as so “I am trying to fathom what is “unconditional” about Congress support to AAP. Does it go beyond government formation, to AAP manifesto and policies?”

The political deadlock in Delhi is expected to continue with the AAP not keen on accepting support both from the BJP as well as the Congress.

In the meantime, Nitin Gadkari, BJP in-charge of Delhi has  challenged AAP to form a government and fulfil the promises. He also alleged that the AAP was scared of forming a government.

AAP leader Yogendra Yadav  had earlier said, “We have been very clear so far that we don’t have the numbers. We don’t believe in politics of give and take.”

Given the present deadlock, Kejriwal is left with three options – He can either accept support or form the government; say he would prefer another election or seek some more time to evolve a strategy.

Going by the present developments, it seems Delhi is heading for a President’s rule.
