Dadar: In an unfortunate incident reported from Dadar, a student of Class V, who missed her bus was raped by a cleaner on school campus.

As per media reports, the girl who had taken part in school annual event had missed her school bus and was hence waiting for her relatives to arrive.
Reportedly, she was waiting with her class teacher, who left her with the peon. The girl went to the second floor of the school to use the toilet, where the accused followed her and raped her.

The accused Somnath Yadav (18) was produced before a court after arrest. He has been sent to police remand.

The principal has said that the cleaner was not a school staffer, but was employed by the caterer who is caretaker of the school’s hall.
