Kannur: Country-made bombs were hurled at a Seva Kendra run by the RSS and at the residence of a BJP worker at Thalassery on Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred just two days after a 27-year old RSS worker named Sujith was hacked to death in Pappinissery.

As per police sources, the bomb was hurled at 1.45 am at Jaganatha Mandiram Seva Kendra. While a window was damaged no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, a bomb was also hurled at the residence of Subramaniam, a BJP worker.

Poll-bound Kerala has turned tense after the murder of Sujith. While BJP has pointed fingers at CPIM, the Marxists have denied it stating that the murder was a fallout of a local incident relating to insulting a girl.

Police have said that the persons behind the murder have been identified.
