Saran, Bihar: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president J.P. Nadda took aim at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress, highlighting corruption issues at separate public gatherings in Bihar.
Rajnath Singh expressed confidence in the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), predicting they would easily surpass 400 seats in the Lok Sabha election. Nadda highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to prosecute corrupt leaders.
Singh campaigned for BJP’s Saran candidate Rajiv Pratap Rudy, praising Modi’s development initiatives and India’s economic growth under his leadership. He criticized the Congress for its failure to address corruption and highlighted Modi’s success in enhancing India’s international stature.
Nadda, rallying for BJP’s Araria nominee Pradeep Kumar Singh, labeled “RJD” as “Rishwatkhoori [bribery] Jungleraj Daldal [swamp],” accusing them of protecting corrupt individuals. He stressed Modi’s commitment to rooting out corruption.
Both leaders highlighted the danger of voting for RJD and Congress, warning against jeopardizing democracy. Singh referenced historical corruption allegations against Congress leaders and cautioned against repeating past mistakes. Nadda urged support for BJP candidates as a means to combat corruption and promote development.
