
Mumbai: The Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd. was awarded the “Best Bank Award” for the year 2018-19 on Friday, August 10, in the category of highest deposits in a co-operative bank. During an award ceremony held at Prabhadevi, Dadar West, they were conferred the honour for having annual deposits of more than Rs 2000 crores.
The Brihanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks’ Association Ltd. Mumbai recognises a co-operative bank each year in relation to its business and confers the “Co-operative Bank Award”.
Chairman of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd., Jaya C Suvarna, Vice Chairperson Rohini J Salian, MD and CEO C R Mulky along with the directors and executives, received the award from the president of Brihanmumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks’ Association Ltd. Kashinath More, Vice President Vithal Chivalkar, Chairman C B Adsul and CEO Sonali Kadam.
Prompt and quality customer service, stability in financial services along with varied services, and most importantly winning the confidence of the customers through its service was the basis on which the bank was conferred the award.
