Bhilwara: Rape knows no boundaries. A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped and pushed into a well in Bhilwaraa, Rajasthan to die. She survived the heinous act and design of the rapist hanging to the submersible pump rope for 15 hours till she was rescued. 

Allegedly she was assaulted by her neighbor in Bhilwara town, when she went to work in a field. The man then took her to a well and allegedly pushed her in to try and kill her. She repeatedly cried for help the whole night, but could not be heard due to the sound of the incessant rain.

She was found the next morning when someone heard her crying for help. Her attacker, who is missing, has been booked for rape and attempt to murder.
