New Delhi: The nation had witnessed a high dram after the spilt of Arvind Kejriwal and his so called “Guru” Anna Hazare, while they have parted their ways it seems as if there is still some hope.
Addressing the media personals on Monday, November 18 in a press conference, the Activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal said that he has tried several times to speak to Anna Hazare, but blamed it on few mediators who don’t allow him to do so.
The bonding between Kejriwal and Anna Hazare although has a different definition, but it is indicated in a letter wrote by Anna to Kejriwal asking him to specify if the money collected for the movement for Lokayukta is being used to fund his election campaign
Denying to the same, Kejriwal confirmed in the press meet, that the financial donations made in 2011’s campaign fronted by Anna Hazare has not been spent by his Aam Aadmi Party or AAP on its campaign for the Delhi election.
Earlier at Ralegaon village in Maharashtra, Anna said, “Arvind is not my enemy, but I fear my name was being misused, as I have always stayed away from lure of money and power, thus I had asked for Kejriwal for some clarification.”
The letter written by Anna says, “I don’t want my name to be used for your campaign. Fund-raising for your party is something you have to figure out.” He also emphasized that money collected during their anti-graft campaign should not be used for elections.” On which Kejriwal organized the press meet in order to share the letter as well to give a reply to Anna’s letter.
The conference was disrupted when a man threw ink at the AAP chief and raised slogans against him. Kejriwal accused the BJP of setting up the attack. The BJP has however denied that the attacker is allied to it.
