Hathras: A girl was allegedly molested and beaten up by a group of young men in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.

The girl, accompanied by a male friend, was allegedly stopped by a group of six men and thrashed on her way back from school.

According to the girl the assailants took them to an isolated spot, molested her, beat up her friend and hurled abuses and threats at the duo. “I was on a bike with a relative when we were stopped by the group. They threatened and abused us. We begged them to leave us but they continued to misbehave,” said the victim.

They even made a video of the entire episode and shared it on social media sites and through mobile.

The police have nabbed four men and is on the lookout for the other two culprits. “Six boys made a clipping of this girl and also misbehaved with her. Four of them have been nabbed. The other two are absconding. We are trying to arrest them,” said police officer Narendra Dev.
