Mount Carmel Swimmers perform well in the AICS Swimming Competition
Mangaluru: The swimmers of Mount Carmel Central School performed well in the AICS swimming competition held at St Aloysius Gonzaga School on 22 Sep 2023.
Under the group 1 category, Saanvi Kotian of grade IX won 2nd place in the 200-meter individual medley.
Under groups 2 and 3 categories, Poorvi C.K. of grade VI won 2nd place in the 50-meter backstroke and 3rd place in the 50-meter breaststroke. Keertana Kishore of grade VII won 3rd place in the 50-meter backstroke and Grace Olivia Dsilva of grade VIII won 3rd place in the 50-meter butterfly stroke.
Under the group 4 category, Shivanshi Santhosh Suvarna of grade II won 3rd place in the 50-meter backstroke. Nishka Senora Fernandes of grade III won 2nd place in the 50-meter butterfly stroke and 3rd place in the 200-meter Individual medley. Shayden Prinston Rego of grade IV won 1st place in the 50-meter breaststroke and 3rd place in the 50-meter backstroke.
The school management, principal and staff congratulated the swimmers for their good performance and wished them well in their future events.
