Mangaluru: In the 1st Shri R.L Jaipuria Memorial Cup 2023 held at Shrinivas Mallya Basketball Indoor Stadium, organized by ILG Crown Pvt Ltd and Mangalore Basketball Club from 21 to 24 Sep., both the boys and girls junior and senior teams of Mount Carmel Central School, participated in it and brought laurels to the school.
The senior boys’ team as well as girls’ team bagged the Winner’s Trophy and junior boys’ and girls’ teams bagged the third position in this tournament. Mythili Nayak Manel and Mrinal of grade X were appreciated and declared as the best players of the tournament.
The school management, principal and staff congratulated the basketball players for their commendable accomplishment and appreciated the efforts of the P.E department of the school.
