Appeal submitted by ICYM members to CM to consider holiday on Sep 8

Bengaluru: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) members of Mangaluru Diocesan Central Executive Committee submitted an appeal through Ivan D’Souza, the member of Legislative Council and Chief whip of Karnataka Legislative Council to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to declare September 8, the nativity of Blessed Mother Mary as a government holiday.

Director of Mangaluru Diocese, Rev Fr Ronald D’Souza; President, Jackson Eric D’Costa; General Secretary, Ancita D’Souza; Vice President, Lavitha Miranda; Joint Secretary, Anish D’Souza; Treasurer, Ashwin Sequeira; Auditor, Anish DSouza; Representative of Karnataka Region, Fayal DSouza ; President of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, Jaison Pereira and Youth Congress Vice President of Pakshiker, Sandesh Sequeira were present on the occasion.
