Yenepoya Nursing College, Youth Red Cross Unit secures International Lifesaver Award

: Youth Red Cross Unit of Yenepoya Nursing College organised a blood donation camp in cooperation with National Integrated Forum for Artists and Activists on March 23 in a wake of a shortage of blood amid Covid 19 crisis.
As the event created a Guinness Record, the unit has been awarded International Lifesaver Award.
The award was received by Nithyashree B V, Programme Coordinator. The award was presented by Former Union Minister D V Sadanand Gowda, NIFAA President Preetpal Singh, IRCS President Naganna, Dr A Balakrishna Shetty governor nominee EC, IRCS, Dr KC Ballal Former president NIMA Central Council.
MLA U T Khader honoured the members of the Youth Red Cross Unit by presenting mementoes.
