Mangaluru: The Yenepoya Foundation, a unit of the Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial educational and charitable trust (Regd.), Deralakatte, Mangalore has announced that it is sponsoring a few candidates for the Engineering Degree course at the Yenepoya Institute of Technology, (formerly M.V. Shetty Institute of Technology) at Vidyanagar, Thodar, Moodbidri, for the year 2015-2016, during the year 2015-2016.

Selection of candidates will be on the basis of merit cum means. While assessing, marks secured in the qualifying exam will be taken into consideration. Evaluation of means of a candidate will be done only in respect of the candidate eligible for selection.

Candidates who have secured 70% and above in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination and hailing from Karnataka State and Kasaragod district   of Kerala State are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to Muslim minority candidates.

Interested candidates can apply for the same in plain paper along with a copy of the Marks card duly attested by the Principal of the respective college  and a passport size photograph to Prof. P.C.M. Kunhi, Director, Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial Educational and Charitable  Trust, Yenepoya University Campus,  University  Road,  Deralakatte,  Mangalore – 575 018. The application for sponsorship should be submitted before  25th June, 2015, the foundation has announced in a press release
