On the occasion of Women’s day, Women’s cell unit of Milagres College’ Mangaluru organised a talk on ‘Women Empowerment’ on March 03, 2019. Mrs. Irene Rebello, Director of M.C.C Bank, Mangaluru and the member of Board of Directors of C.O.D. P , was the guest speaker. She spoke on the significance of women’s day and reason behind celebrating it globally and the need for development of women in the society.

Pick and speak competition was conducted at the end of the programme. The winners were Priya Jyothi Pinto II B Com ‘A’ (1st Place) and Prajna III B Com ‘A’ (2nd place). 

Girl students of Commerce, Science and Hospitality science were present. Coordinator Mrs. Chethana, Ms. Princita and Ms. Neslin were also present. Ms. Nishmitha of 3rd BCom compered the program and Vote of thanks was given by Kaushike of 1st BCom.
