Mangaluru: The Hindi Department of Vikas PU College celebrated Hindi Day on Wednesday, September 14.

Dr. R Nagesh, Lecturer of Hindi Department of St Agnes P.U College who was the chief guest of the function inaugurated the program by lightening the lamp. Speaking on the occasion he enlightened the students regarding Hindi and its importance in daily life.

Dr Nagesh further felicitated the winners of the elocution competition. Vice Principal Mohana R, Rajaram, Correspondent; Vidya Kamath, Administrator; Asha Kumari, H.O.D of Hindi Department and Pradeep, Cultural Co-ordinator were present.

Saptami Shetty compered the event. Anup Rai welcomed the gathering and Pranay rendered the vote of thanks.
