Mangaluru: Vikaas College of Physiotherapy held an orientation program for 2019-20 batch, BPT students at the college’s premises here in the city on 16/09/2019. Dr. Vaishali K, Professor, and Head, Department of Physiotherapy, Manipal College of Health Professions, Manipal, was the chief guest.

Sri Koragappa, Trustee, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Sri Sooraj Kumar Kaalya, trustee, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Sri JK Rao, Trustee, Vikaas Group of Institutions, Sri Parthasarathi j Palemar, Coordinator, Vikaas Group of institutions, Dr. Manjula Rao, Dean, Dr. Ajay Thakur, Principal, Vikaas College of Physiotherapy graced the stage with their presence.

Dr. Sunjyoth welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest and other dignitaries to the audience; Dr. Vaishali K, gave an inspiring speech, motivated the students and wished them all success in the physiotherapy profession; Sri JK Rao, in his speech remembered the outstanding students of Vikaas Physiotherapy College, wished the students to become successful professionals in their future; Dr. Ajay Thakur, explained the importance of physiotherapy and role of professionalism in student life, and wished all the students and thanked all the parents for choosing Vikaas college of Physiotherapy; The faculty of physiotherapy explained the hostel rules, College rules and about the Anti-ragging program.

Dr. Sneha Suresh, Associate Professor, delivered the vote of thanks, Ms. Harshita, Ms. Nivetha, Ms. Archana Nair, Ms. Anushka, Mr. Akash, and Mr. Archit were the Student coordinators for the program.
