National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Mangaluru Chapter, in association with St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, will be hosting a One-day Regional Student Conference, “SRISTI 2K19” on Saturday, the 13th of April 2019, in the Kalam Auditorium of the college. Dr B M Hegde, Padma Bhushan Awardee 2010 & Former Vice Chancellor of Manipal University will be inaugurating the conference.

In this present age of innovation and rapid change, the need of the hour is understanding the importance of competencies and enhancing focus on these competencies like Communication, Problem Solving, Client Orientation etc. SRISTI 2K19 is aimed at enabling the students to work on these competencies and smoothen their transition from Campus to Corporate.

Alongside Dr B M Hegde, Mr Ashok Thammayya-Southern Regional Vice Chairperson of NIPM, Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza-Director of SJEC, Mr Diwakar Kadri-Chairperson of NIPM and Mr Prabhoda K S-Secretary of NIPM, would be present at the Inaugural.

Post inaugural, the conference is set to witness a Keynote Address followed by a plethora of invited talks by several eminent personalities who would be interacting with the students.
