The Men’s Hockey Team of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, won VTU Mangaluru Zone Hockey Tournament held at NMAMIT, Nitte, on 11th April 2019 and thereby getting selected for VTU Inter Zonal Hockey Tournament at Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), Tumkur, on 21st & 22nd April 2019.

On the way to this feat, SJEC romped home to victory in Quarter Finals against Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Valachil by a 4-1, won their Semi Finals against Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management (SCEM), Adyar by 2-1 and Finals against NMAMIT, Nitte by 1-0.

The management of St Joseph Engineering College is proud of this achievement and congratulates the Hockey Team and the Department of Physical Education on their outstanding efforts.
