Mangaluru:  The Sports team of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, put on an excellent performance in the recently held Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) level event and won laurels for the College under the guidance of PED, Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Sudheer M, Assistant PED and Coach.

Hrithik Chand first year MBA secured First place in the below 105 kg Powerlifting Championship by lifting a Squat 247 kg, Bench press 132 kg, and Deadlift 230 kg total weight of 609 kg, held at GIT, Belagavi on 7 and 8 Sep. 2023.

SJEC Management congratulated Hrithik Chand and the Physical Education Directors and coaches for this overwhelming achievement at the university-level event.
