Mangaluru: The Sports team of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, put on an excellent performance in the recently held Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) level event and won laurels for the College under the guidance of PED, Vaneesha V Rodrigues and Assistant PED Sudheer M.

Shubhra Rai D, first-year BE(CSBS), secured 3rd place in the 63 kg category of the VTU State Level Powerlifting Championship held at GIT, Belgaum on 7 Sep. 2023.

The SJEC Management congratulated Shubhra Rai D and the Physical Education Directors for their exemplar achievement at the university-level event.
