Mangaluru: Dr Rita Crasta, Assistant Professor in the Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Physics, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru had been awarded research grant of Rs. 5 lakh by the Vision Group for Science and Technology, Govt. of Karnataka.

The research grant has been awarded under Research Grant for Scientist Faculty (RGS/F). The synopsis of the research proposal submitted by Dr Rita Crasta is “Natural Radioactivity Concentration in Medicinal Plants and Environmental Matrices in Coastal Regions”.
