Mangaluru: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit was inaugurated for the academic year 2016-17 in P.A. College of Engineering, Mangaluru on Saturday, September 24.

Prof. Chandrashekar, Head of Business Administration Department, Govt. First Grade College for Women, Balmatta, Mangaluru was the chief guest of the programme. In his inaugural address he said that NSS volunteers should always be service oriented, they should think globally and act locally. He urged the NSS volunteers to render lifelong service to the society, from their Profession. Abdulla A. Rehman, Founder and Executive Director, Anti Pollution Drive, Mangaluru was the Guest of Honour for the programme.

Dr. Abdul Sharief, Principal, PACE presided over the function, Shafeeq, Student from E&C department welcomed the gathering and Prarthana of Computer Science dept, proposed the vote of thanks. Neethika of Information Science Department compered the program. NSS programme officers Prof. Mahammad Manoor and Prof Musthafa Khaleel V were present.
