Mangaluru: “If you can’t fly, run. If you can’t run, Walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. Whatever it is, but keep moving, ” said bProf (Dr.) S. Rajashekaran (chairman, Ganga hospital) to young graduates at the Seventh Annual convocation held at K S hegde auditorium of NITE University on September 9.

The ceremony was presided over by chancellor of Nitte University N. Vinayak Hegde.

The Convocation eremony witnessed presentation of Honorary Degree to Prof. Hermann F. Sailer (Maxillofacial surgeon from Germany and founder of International Children Cleft Lip Palate Foundation) and Sri Lalchandra Gajria (Founder of International Children Cleft Lip Palate Foundation).

In conversation with graduates Prof. Rajashekaran shared his views regarding giving back to the society. In his address he quoted, “We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.” He emphasized on living better life with good qualities in life.

Later, chancellor presented the Gold Medals and certificates to respective students.

On the event 694 students bagged convocation.

Pro chancellor of Nitte University Dr Shantaram Shetty, vice chancellor, Dr Ramanand Shetty, Dr M S Moodithaya (registrar), Dean of K S Hege Medical Academy hospital, Dr Sathish Kumar Bhandary and other dignitaries were present during the event.
