Mangaluru: Department of Public Health Dentistry, A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences conducted an Awareness Programme on “Ill Effects of Tobacco” for the High School students of Mount Carmel School, Maryhill, Mangalore on 4th July 2015 and for High School students of Padua High School, Mangalore on 6th July 2015.
A video titled “Womb to Tomb” depicting the adverse effect of tobacco was projected for the students. A Role Play on “Ill effects of Tobacco” was performed. Health Talk on “Ill effects of Tobacco” was given by Dr Prerna – Postgraduate student – Department of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr Karan Giriyan –Lecturer, Postgraduates and Interns – Department of Public Health Dentistry, A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences were present.
