Mangaluru: The Department of Public Health Dentistry of A J Institue of Dental Sciences conducted an awareness programme on the “Ill effects of Tobacco” for the students of Gonzaga School, here on July 11.

A video titled “womb to tomb” depicting the adverse effect of tobacco was projected for the benefit of the students. A role play on the ill effects of tobacco was also performed.

A health talk on the same topic was then given by assistant professor Dr Pooja Shetty, and Post Graduate student Dr Prema, both belonging to the Department of Public Health Dentistry.

Lecturer Dr Karan Giriyan, Postgraduates and Interns of A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences were present.
